It's down south, near the edge of the wild, and probably the best place in Sri Lanka if you are a wildlife enthusiast. Roads are dry, flat, and then wild. Yala is home to elephants and leopards that roam freely. Jeep bounces, the sun hits hard, and dust swirls, but then the silence breaks with a stare. Elephants, crocs, maybe even a big cat. It's thrilling and kinda unforgettable.
